We’re a volunteer run aviation group and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that brings people together to learn, build, and fly. From youth programs to monthly gatherings, we make aviation accessible to anyone with curiosity.

Monthly Gathering

Whether you're heading to AirVenture for the first time or you've been attending for years, join us for an evening of practical tips and insider knowledge to help you make the most of your trip to Oshkosh.
We'll cover everything from volunteering opportunities, must see attractions, camping, and flying in (including the NOTAM), to KidVenture and even a few tips for identifying the WW2 aircraft you'll see throughout the week. Bring your questions and learn from fellow chapter members who have experienced AirVenture from every angle.
Whether you're flying in, driving in, camping, or just planning a day trip, there's something for everyone.
Young Eagle Rally: Rosebaum Field, Chippewa Falls

EAA Chapter 509 is excited to host a Young Eagle Rally at Rosenbaum Field in Chippewa Falls, WI.
Young Eagle Rallies give youth the chance to experience the excitement of flight. During a Young Eagle flight, volunteer pilots take children on a short introductory airplane ride and introduce them to the world of aviation.
These flights are available for youth ages 8 to 17 and are conducted by experienced volunteer pilots who love sharing their passion for aviation while prioritizing safety and education.
To help the event run smoothly and ensure a great experience for every participant, walk-ins will not be available. Each child must register in advance and select a time slot before the event.

EAA Chapter 509 Clubhouse is located at the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport.

After turning right from Starr Avenue into the airport property, take the first left. Continue down that road and you will find our clubhouse on the left hand side just before the fence.
